Om Ka Hari Movie Review: पिता-बेटे की कहानी में Emotion तो है, लेकिन Screenplay में दिखी कुछ कमजोरी
18 September 2026 को theatres में रिलीज हुई Om Ka Hari इस weekend की उन Hindi films में शामिल है जो बड़े action spectacle के बजाय family relationships और emotional bonding पर focus करती है. Film में Raghubir Yadav, Anshuman Jha और Soni Razdan मुख्य roles में हैं और Harish Vyas ने इसे direct किया है.
Film का सबसे बड़ा attraction इसका simple लेकिन relatable subject है—एक पिता और उसके estranged बेटे के बीच वह emotional distance जिसे दोनों सालों से ठीक से express नहीं कर पाए हैं.
क्या है Om Ka Hari की Story?
Film में Raghubir Yadav Hari Prasad Sharma का character निभाते हैं. एक suspected heart attack के बाद Hari को लगता है कि उसके पास जिंदगी के केवल कुछ दिन बचे हैं.
वह अपने अंतिम दिनों को Varanasi में बिताने का फैसला करता है और अपने estranged son Om, जिसे Anshuman Jha निभाते हैं, को अपने साथ चलने के लिए मजबूर करता है.
यह journey सिर्फ एक father और son की physical journey नहीं रहती. Varanasi पहुंचने के बाद दोनों के बीच पुराने disagreements, expectations और unspoken emotions धीरे-धीरे सामने आने लगते हैं.
Film का emotional hook यही है कि दोनों एक-दूसरे की care करते हैं, लेकिन affection को openly express करने में uncomfortable हैं.
Raghubir Yadav की Performance
अगर reviews को देखें तो Raghubir Yadav film के strongest points में से एक हैं.
उनका Hari character एक typical Bollywood father नहीं है. उसमें strictness, vulnerability, humour और emotional insecurity—all मौजूद हैं.
उनकी performance कई scenes को natural बनाती है और फिल्म के emotional moments को overdramatic होने से बचाती है.
Anshuman Jha भी देते हैं Strong Performance
Anshuman Jha का Om अपने father से emotionally distant है.
वह अपने career और personal life में अलग रास्ता चुन चुका है, जबकि Hari अभी भी अपने बेटे के decisions को लेकर traditional expectations रखता है.
Anshuman ने character की frustration और suppressed affection को understated तरीके से play किया है.
Times of India ने film को 3/5 stars दिए और performances तथा family relationships पर observations को इसके positives में गिना.
Film की Biggest Problem क्या है?
जहां performances मजबूत हैं, वहीं screenplay हर जगह equally engaging नहीं रहती.
India Today के review ने भी film को flawed family film बताया और कहा कि emotional payoff उसके premise की तुलना में ज्यादा gentle है.
यानी शुरुआत में जब Hari को लगता है कि उसके पास सिर्फ कुछ दिन हैं, audience naturally एक intense emotional journey की उम्मीद करती है.
लेकिन film कुछ moments में उतनी emotional intensity maintain नहीं कर पाती.
कुछ situations predictable लगती हैं और second half में narrative की गति थोड़ी धीमी महसूस हो सकती है.
Varanasi बनी Story का Important Character
Film की setting भी इसके mood का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है.
Varanasi केवल location नहीं बल्कि father-son relationship के transformation का backdrop बनती है.
Ghats, temples और शहर का spiritual environment characters के internal conflicts के साथ connect करने की कोशिश करता है.
इससे film को एक warm, reflective atmosphere मिलता है.
Asha Bhosle का Final Film Song
Om Ka Hari का एक बेहद special aspect legendary singer Asha Bhosle से जुड़ा है.
उनका final feature-film song “Ae Meri Zindagi” इसी movie का हिस्सा है. यह track 2023 में record किया गया था और उनकी 93rd birth anniversary पर release किया गया था.
इस वजह से film का music album भी emotional significance रखता है.
Final Verdict
Om Ka Hari कोई typical commercial Bollywood entertainer नहीं है.
यह उन viewers के लिए ज्यादा suitable है जिन्हें family dramas, father-son relationships, emotional Hindi movies और character-driven storytelling पसंद है.
Raghubir Yadav और Anshuman Jha की performances film को संभालती हैं, लेकिन screenplay और emotional payoff इसे truly outstanding family drama बनने से रोकते हैं.
